Back in the saddle again!

Well, I meant to write about this on Friday night but there just weren't enough hours left to do so. I got my first real english riding lesson (I went on a few intermediate trail rides before this due to the arena being drowned out by rain) in on Friday night while Tim was at swim with Dad. I love how excited I get riding and how positive my teacher is. She had me do a double jump by the end of the lesson and said she saw a great future for me as a jumper. I've been dying to start jumping ever since I was a little girl obsessed with National Velvet. I must have drove my mother nuts with how many times I watched it. All in all it's great to be riding again. I've missed the "good old days" when I had my own two horses (Brandy and Maverick) and I'd throw a saddle on (or not) and just go have some fun!

A First

So I've been lurking in the shadows reading all my little friends/ families blogs and secretly wishing I had my own. Today I finally decided to stop wishing and just do it! So here I am. I plan to be as consistant as possible considering how busy life can get. I hope this helps keep my treasured friends and family updated and closer to me than ever. Oh I hear my little man crying gotta go!
